| Duties |
[Implementation of Recruitment and Counseling Work Plan for Students with Disabilities] - Provide counseling, transition support, and assessment referrals for new or suspected cases of students with disabilities in the Department of Aeronautical Engineering, Department of Mechanical and Computer-Aided Engineering, and College of Management.
- Assist students with disabilities in these departments/college to apply to the Ministry of Education’s Technology Assistive Device Center for loaned assistive devices.
- Develop and review Individualized Education Plans (IEPs/ISPs) for students with disabilities in these departments/college.
- Organize initial and final work meetings and (parent-) student-teacher forums for the Recruitment and Counseling Work Plan for Students with Disabilities.
- Conduct employment transition meetings for graduating students with disabilities.
- Arrange peer counseling and coordinate sign language/interpreting services for students with disabilities.
- Serve as the campus liaison for inquiries regarding students with disabilities or related data (including submissions to the Technical and Vocational Education Database and temporary staff salary and pension information for the Personnel Office).
- Organize extracurricular activities in the Resource Classroom (e.g., DIY workshops and growth group activities).
- Manage the closure, reimbursement, and budget control of the Ministry of Education’s subsidized program for recruitment and counseling of students with disabilities.
- Safeguard Resource Classroom property and handle other related tasks.
